Long Term Risks of Abortion

Please consider the potential, significant  long-term risks after abortion.

Women who abort:

  • Are more likely to experience future ectopic pregnancies, infertility hysterectomy stillbirth miscarriage and premature birth than women who have not had abortions.

  • Have a 60% higher risk of miscarriage.

  • Are more likely to have breast cancer. This risk increases for those who have had at least 2 to 3 abortions. This is thought to be linked to the maturation of T cells in the breast tissue after a woman has gone through a complete cycle of menstruation , birth and lactation.
